Contractor Health and Safety

We assess over 175 work activities for contractor health and safety compliance.

As a contractor, it is important that you not only provide you clients with expert services, but that you also adhere to contractor health and safety requirements as set forth by the Canadian government. At ContractorCheck, we have developed an online questionnaire that is assessed by an experienced Canadian health and safety professional and identifies recommendations for contractors as they work to achieve their ContractorCheck Accreditation.

Contractor Health and Safety

The initial contractor health and safety assessment is normally completed within one to two weeks, with an extended procedure if additional information is required. The assessment process remains active until compliance is evidenced and accreditation is achieved.

Our assessment is intended to support and encourage contractors throughout the accreditation process and ensure that the proper health and safety laws and regulations are met. Our assessment allows us to provide recommendations for contractors as they complete accreditation, including offering mandatory items that must be completed and advisory items that require action, but aren’t essential to finish the program.
