IDR Commercial Construction Management Inc. was founded in 2007 by Don Sheepwash and Iain Barrie. They founded the company to offer a full service response to client needs after seeing a gap in the market they could address with their expertise in design build and the set up and organization of a project.
Don and Iain also saw how they could help in crafting financial requests and help with the evaluation of options. They wanted to bring a service to clients that would help them bridge the gap between their experiences and working within the confines of the construction industry. They set up their business model out as a “one stop” shop for clients to feel relaxed and confident that the money they invested was in good hands.
IDR are not just general contractors, they offer innovative and tailored solutions for each client’s unique needs. They bring the design build concept and management techniques to all projects – large or small. It’s critical to them that the client understands the process and has a level of comfort and confidence that allows them to continue with their own work.

As such, they have protocols in place using digital checks for every person who attends site, even for deliveries, and surveys are conducted on each job at the beginning, and at every stage of work to minimize risk.
